Chapter One
The hat comes out of the closet
It started with one old hat and one small idea: stop waiting for the big trip. Go goof off on a Tuesday. Take four pictures. Come home with a story.

Chapter Two
The tribe is not famous and it is not far away. It is the other families doing the same thing — muddy boots, bad weather, laughing anyway. We started looking for them everywhere we went.

Chapter Three
Every family who joins writes two wishes on little slips of paper. One wish they keep. One wish they leave in the hat for the next family to take. Keep one. Take one. That is the whole rule.

Chapter Four
England taught us the best part is never the thing you planned. It is the soaked hat, the top of the bus, the red phone box you squeeze into one at a time.

Chapter Five
The last pages of the book are yours. Your photos, painted. Your wishes, written. The tribe gets one family bigger every time somebody fills them in.
